It is my utmost pleasure as President of the Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi to welcome you to our fraternity. As one of the largest professional fraternities, we are focused on developing strong, business-minded individuals and building a cohesive community within our campus. With our network of distinguished alumni, vast academic resources, and strong culture of mentorship, we aim to empower each and every brother to reach their goals, both academically and professionally.
Since joining Delta Sigma Pi my freshman year, I have always been proud of the accomplishments that we have achieved, individually and as a brotherhood. Each year, I am amazed by the stellar job placement of our graduates – our brothers go on to work at the world’s best firms in finance, consulting, marketing, and technology. Together, we leverage this network to give back to the NYU community, hosting events with professionals from prominent firms, such as J.P. Morgan, American Express, and Microsoft.
But most importantly, I am continuously struck by the timelessness of our brotherhood. Year after year our alumni return to share their wisdom and help guide younger brothers in their professional aspirations.
Before I joined Delta Sigma Pi, I came to the city not knowing a single person. Fast forward four years and I’m not just part of a fraternity or a brotherhood – but a family.
Founded in 1907 at New York University School of Commerce, Accounts, and Finance, Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.
